The Process

Receiving the Putter

When we get putters, irons and/or wedges delivered to us, often times especially on old classics like this TeI3 Del Mar, they come in really rough shape almost unrestorable condition. Once checked in to production, we remove the head from the shaft unless your shipment was head only.

Removing old paint fill

This is where the fun begins! We start every restoration in house with an acetone bath to remove any and all paint fill from each club head. This is a must in order to thoroughly clean the head for the next phase of the restoration.

Optional Putter Face Milling

Optimize the results of your classic restoration with a re-milled putter face for your Scotty Cameron or any classic milled putter from the notable makers.

Ding and Dent Removal

This is the main foundation of a great result. We spend a good amount of time through the process to thoroughly remove and smooth out all the dings and scratches on each individual club head to ensure the smoothest surfaces possible for a new finish

Brand New Finishes

This is where the club head begins to show new life! We offer the best putter, wedge and iron finishes we possibly can from:

Glass bead blasted finishes
Black Oxide
PVD/DLC Coatings
Nickel and Chrome Plating

Paint Fill

This step is the most time consuming part but this is the final stage that makes the restored club head complete. We carry many different colors of acrylic and clear enamel paints to satisfy your color tastes!
